Rights
On June 29, 2005, YFP gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
Speaking on behalf of the band Your Friend,
Photosynthesis, we would like to be added to your
Archive. I am responsible for website maintenance and
live recording for the band, and they have given me
permission to use archive.org to archive their live
music recordings. They currently have no restrictions
on what can be stored, beyond your own specific
guidelines.
The band and I believe that archival of live music is
a necessity of modern music, particularly in bands who
tend to improvise. This is why Your Friend,
Photosynthesis has an open taping and trading policy.
Just as long as there is no commercial profit being
made from their material, they are happy with taping.
